936 Korean Professional Football Players Registered In 2024
The Korea Professional Football Federation announces the results of the regular registration of players in the ‘Hana Bank K League 2024’
The Korea Professional Football Federation President Kwon Oh-gap, hereinafter referred to as the Federation announced on the 8th Friday that a total of 936 players, 489 in K-League 1 and 447 in K-League 2, have registered as regular players for Hana Bank K-League 2024.
The 936 players who will play in the K-League this season are the combined number of 934 players who have completed the registration process and two players who have applied for the issuance of International Transfer Confirmation ITC within the registration period.
The number of players registered this year has increased by 11 from 925 who registered during the regular registration period in the previous year. Among them, 834 were Korean players and 102 were foreign players.
The average number of K-League 1 teams per team is 40.7, and the average number of K-League 2 teams is 34.3. Jeonbuk registered the largest number of players with 49, while Chungcheongbuk-do Province had the smallest number of players with 29.
The number of U22 or younger U22 players increased by three year-on-year to 169 in the K League 1, 111 in the K League 2, and 280 in total. Daegu had the largest number of players in the K League 1, and Asan in the South Chungcheong Province had 15.
The number of K-League youth players decreased by eight year-on-year to 172 in K-League 1, 145 in K-League 2, and a total of 317. Suwon has the largest number of self-rescue youth players, and 19 out of 44 players in the team have passed the Suwon Youth System.
A total of 10 “high school student K Leaguers” who played in the K League through a semi-professional contract are Kim Myung-joon Pohang, Yang Min-hyuk Gangwon, Kang Min-woo Ulsan, Yoon Do-young Daejeon, Ko Jong-hyun, Kwak Sung-hoon, Kim Sung-joo, Im Hyun-seop, Park Seung-soo Suwon, and Jang Seok-hoon Seoul E-Land. 스포츠토토티비
The additional player registration period during the season is about five weeks from June 20 Thursday to July 31 Wednesday.
