Foot Volleyball Heading For Globalization, National Sports Are Heating Up

The heat of the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games continues in South Jeolla Province. The venue for the National Sports Festival (National Sports Festival, 13th-19th) is being held.

Foot volleyball, which is actively moving for globalization in the powerhouse of sports for all, is the second year of the national sports demonstration event. The Korean Foot volleyball Association (Chairman Hong Ki-yong) expects to adopt an official event after the National Sports Festival.

Foot volleyball, a “native” brand, is moving vigorously for globalization while strengthening its domestic base by hosting the Korean League.

In July, the first World Foot volleyball Championship was held in Yanggu, Gangwon-do, and 11 countries from around the world (Czech Republic, Ireland, Iraq, Bulgaria, Pakistan, Hungary, Laos, Thailand, Slovakia, Romania, and South Korea) participated, and the Korean national team showed off its best skills and became the first gymnasium.
