New York Senate Passes Game Expansion Bill
The New York State Senate on Monday passed legislation to introduce mobile sports betting to states and more land casinos.
Casinos under three states will be allowed, and one will be in New York City. According to a report by The New York Post, Vallis Corporation, Las Vegas Sands, and Wynn Resorts are pushing to build casinos in New York City.
To do so, you will need to complete your casino application by July 1st, along with a $500 million application fee.
Sports betting licenses may be issued to Empire City Casino and Resorts World Casino New York City, but nothing is yet certain in this regard.
More sports betting licenses can also be offered to operators.
“This brings us one step closer to providing people with a responsible, legal, and safe way to place their bets anywhere in New York,” Senator Joseph Adabbo, chairman of the Senate Racing, Gaming, and Wagering Committee, told Casino City. “I’m looking forward to productive budget negotiations with Congress and the governor’s administration as our focus is on providing New Yorkers with the best possible mobile sports betting products and witnessing revenue and education funding growth while expanding problem gambling measures and job opportunities. 안전 슬롯사이트
“We especially appreciate the efforts of our Senate colleagues and staff on all the work that produces Senate House budgets, including mobile sports betting and expedited handling of New York State’s three unused Downstate casino licenses.”
