There are now two more reasons why the next event should be held in the Sonoran Desert. Casino del Sol has completed a 9,600-square-foot expansion at its existing conference center, while its sister facility, Casino of the Sun, has just opened its new event center, the Sunset Room.

The brand-new 11,000-square-foot Sunset Room is adjacent to the Casino of the Sun and can accommodate up to 750 guests. The Sunset Room is ideal for all types of social or business functions, including wedding receptions, corporate meetings, quince, graduation parties, and more. Guests who book a Sunset Room can use Casino Del Sol’s award-winning catering service or hire outside catering. The Sunset Room will also host live entertainment.

Already one of the largest conference halls in Southern Arizona, Casino del Sol’s conference center boasts an additional 9,600 square feet of space, and its extensive expansion is now complete. A second ballroom and additional breakout rooms have been added to complement the existing convention space. The design allows flexibility for a variety of events with several different room configurations. This impressive facility can now accommodate more than 3,000 guests for corporate events, exhibitions, weddings, and live entertainment such as boxing and comedy shows. Casino del Sol’s conference center will continue to offer a wide range of customized catering menus.

The new Sunset Room at the Casino of the Sun and the expanded Casino Del Sol’s Conference Center are already in addition to the Pascua Yaqui Tribe’s impressive conference space offerings. Now, with two ballrooms and an abundance of pre-function space, Casino Del Sol boasts a flexible indoor/outdoor conference space of nearly 110,000 square feet. This includes unique settings such as a conference center terrace, picturesque full deck and gazebo, and event lawn. With cutting-edge audio-visual and staging capabilities, first-class service, and attention to detail, Casino Del Sol is well-equipped to accommodate a wide range of events.

Casino Del Sol and Casino of the Sun’s two event space projects are part of a larger hospitality project that includes an RV Park with a new 90 spaces scheduled to open in late June and a new 151-room hotel scheduled to open in November this year. The total contractor for the project is the McCarthy Building Companies. The architect is the Cunningham Group.
