Winning the Asian Cup for the first time in 64 years means 50 million won for each player

The Korea Pursuit Association said Thursday that it will pay out 50 million won ($50,000) in incentives to each player if the South Korean national soccer team wins the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup 안전카지노사이트 next January for the first time in 64 years.

The KFA made the decision at a board meeting at the Jongno Football Hall in Jongno-gu, Seoul, to finalize the amount of the reward for major international tournaments. The incentives for the national team’s coaching staff, including head coach Jürgen Klinsmann, will be paid separately according to the terms of their contracts.

South Korea hasn’t lifted the trophy since winning back-to-back titles at the inaugural edition in Hong Kong in 1956 and the second edition in Seoul in 1960. South Korea will try to win its first title in 64 years at the Asian Cup in Qatar next January.

Also at the meeting, the board of directors decided to equally distribute 20 million won ($15,000) each to the 22 athletes who won “three consecutive Asian Games gold medals” at the Hangzhou Asian Games last month. At the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Games, each athlete received 15 million won.
