While Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC is investing toward the future through overseas exchanges, Park Ji-sung, technical director, and legendary striker Ruud van Nistelrooy, a former Dutch national team and PSV coach, visited the training ground to encourage the players who are training for five weeks in October.

Jeonbuk announced the news on the 15th and said, “In April, we signed a memorandum of understanding MOU with PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands, which is well-known in the youth system in Europe with technical director Park Ji-sung.”

First of all, PSV youth coaches visited Korea in May to apply European youth training sessions to all ages of the Jeonbuk Hyundai youth team and seek directions for development in parallel with domestic training programs. In October, six U-15 prospects Kim Ye-gun, Noh Yeon-woo, Jang Woo-young, Oh Tae-joon, Lee Won-se and Lee Chae-woon were selected and spent five weeks training as PSV Eindhoven.

Prospects are conducting various training sessions at PSV Eindhoven. The training that prospects receive is PSV Eindhoven’s special age-specific, session-specific, and position-specific programs.

In particular, director Park Ji-sung visited the training ground with former coach Van Nistelui to encourage the team. After training, they had a meal time together and also served as mentors.

Jeonbuk is also accompanied by coach Ha Sung-woo who holds the FA Level 2 certificate of the British Football Association to provide various cooperation and leadership education, including how to manage players and foster training.

Coach Ha Sung-woo said, “Since they are young players, I was a little tired from staying abroad for a long time, but I think it was a great motivation, such as revitalizing after meeting director Park Ji-sung and Van Nistelrooy,” adding, “I will also learn more for the rest of the year.” 안전놀이터

After this training, Jeonbuk will continue its continuous and systematic management by receiving a separate result report from the PSV Eindhoven coaching system to the strengths and weaknesses and reinforcement programs necessary for growth.

Park Ji-sung, Jeonbuk Technical Director, said, “The level of players is high and there are many competitive parts in the Netherlands, which is a lot of stimulation for PSV players,” adding, “I hope this training will serve as an opportunity to overcome individual players’ shortcomings and maximize their strengths to develop to the next level.”
