Edgar left the team in March last year due to an Achilles tendon injury, but Daegu remained loyal and renewed his contract at the end of that year. As if to repay this, Edgar scored two goals in the final league match against Incheon United on the 3rd to lead the team to a 2-1 victory.
With this renewal, Edgar will wear the Daegu uniform for the seventh consecutive year.
Edgar said, “I’m so happy to write history with Daegu once again,” adding, “I want to spend the year next year putting everything I have into it. I’ll do my best to give you greater joy and happiness next year.”
