Clarion Event Announces Japan Game Competition
Since 2014, casino officials have been patiently waiting for Japan to introduce resort-scale gambling to the world’s third-largest economy. Today, Japanese lawmakers have passed a promotion bill to legalize casino gambling in Japan, paving the way for integrated resorts within the next 12 months.
Clarion Events is pleased to announce the second edition of Japan Gaming Congress, which will be held in Tokyo from May 10 to 12, 2017, in cooperation with Japanese company Hakuhodo.
Kate Chambers, managing director of gaming at Clarion Events, said, “Japan has taken a major step toward becoming one of the next gambling superpowers. The opportunity to bring industry leaders together represents a truly unique opportunity to talk to key government officials and international stakeholders about the proposed requirements. With prominent shares in various Japanese companies reaching record highs and major operators vying for their share in the potential $40 billion market, JgC 2 will offer stakeholders the opportunity to join key government officials, global gaming groups, construction companies, financial institutions, and legal professionals by providing first-hand advice and experience on the proposed regulatory framework, which will help plan their market entry strategy. 슬롯
