‘ANKLE SURGERY’ WOODS PLAY FIRST FULL-SWING AROUND WITH SON IN SIX MONTHS

Tiger Woods (USA) took a full swing on the golf course six months after undergoing ankle surgery in April .The TGR Foundation, which Woods founded, posted a video of Woods teeing off at the Hay Course, a par-3 course in Pebble Beach, California, on its website on Sept. 9.Woods reportedly played a few holes with his son, Charlie, while visiting the TGR Junior Invitational hosted by the TGR Foundation here on Aug. 8.

This is the first time Woods has been seen with a full swing of a golf club since undergoing ankle surgery in April. He was seen chipping with a wedge at a teaching event last month, but he did not make a full swing at that time .In the video, Woods, wearing long pants and a short-sleeved shirt, demonstrated a smooth, rhythmic swing. Woods underwent surgery after the Masters in April to treat inflammation of the peroneal bone in his right ankle.
