Marina Bay Sands To Launch VIP Gaming Floor By September 2024

Marina Bay Sands, a well-known casino resort in Singapore, is preparing to enhance the luxurious gaming experience by introducing VIP gaming facilities on the 53rd and 54th floors of Tower 2. Scheduled to begin in September 2024, the plan represents a significant boost to the resort’s prestigious service, which a spokesperson for the resort recently identified in a conversation with GGRasia.

Introduction to the Faiza Sky Palace:

The new gaming operation will be named Paiza Sky Palace, reflecting the luxury the Paiza brand means, especially among those familiar with its entry into Macau through Sands China Ltd. This exclusive part of the casino will consist primarily of private gaming salons and has been carefully designed to cater to the identifiable tastes of VIP customers who require privacy and top-notch service.

Starting this new phase, Marina Bay Sands highlights its commitment to operating within the strict regulatory framework established for gaming in Singapore. The introduction of Tower Games includes all necessary casino safety devices to ensure compliance and safety. As part of its extensive refurbishment program, Marina Bay Sands is making significant upgrades across its properties. Patrick Dumont, Group President and COO of Las Vegas Sands, highlighted in his first-quarter earnings call that Tower 1 and 2 are already fully renovated.

“While we have substantially completed our original $1 billion capital expenditure program, we are still in the early stages of realizing the benefits of these new products.

Future expansion plans:

In addition to the immediate upgrade, Marina Bay Sands has embarked on an ambitious expansion project that will include a huge investment of at least S$4.5 billion (roughly Rs. 3.3 billion). The project will include the construction of a fourth hotel tower that will add 587 rooms to the resort’s capacity. Construction for this expansion is expected to begin in July 2025, with the goal of completion by July 2029.
