Pyeongtaek JFC pulls off dramatic 3-2 upset over Bupyeonggo to win Gold Bae Youth Cup

Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek JFC has won the KUMBAE Youth Cup (U17) with a dramatic come-from-behind victory over Incheon Bupyeonggo.

Pyeongtaek JFC came from behind to beat Bupyeong High School 3-2 in the final of the 57th Presidential Geumbae National High School Soccer Tournament Youth Cup at the Jecheon Sports Complex in Chungcheongbuk-do, South Chungcheong Province, on Wednesday. Pyeongtaek JFC scored a late injury-time winner after twice tying the game at 2-2. Jeon Min-hoo converted a ground ball pass from Han Yoo-joon in injury time. Captain Ji Young-ho (Pyeongtaek JFC) was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. Ahn Tae-hoon (Bupyeonggo) was awarded the top scorer. The best player award went to Cho Hee-sung (Bupyeong High School) and the best defense award went to Kim Min-soo (Bupyeong High School). The offensive award went to Han Yoo-joon (Pyeongtaek JFC), who recorded one goal and one assist in the final.
