The 2018 Pyeongchang Memorial Foundation (Chairman: IOC Member Yoo Seung-min) is operating a promotional booth for the Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games (the Games) at the Delta Zone of the 25th World Scout Jamboree in Saemangeum, Jeollabuk-do, until March 12.

As part of the ‘Gangwon 2024 GoGoGo Campaign’ and the ‘Visiting Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games Project’, the booth will provide various opportunities for youths from around the world participating in the Jamboree to learn about the 2024 Gangwon Winter Youth Olympic Games and familiarize themselves with winter sports. At the booth, a variety of fun and enriching programs were held, including a curling experience zone, an OX quiz zone related to the Games, a Gangwon 2024 tattoo experience zone, a healing relaxation zone, a mini Olympic museum, and a photo zone with the Games’ mascot, Muncho, and various souvenirs were provided.

Kim Yeon-ah, an ambassador for the Games, delivered a video message to cheer on the Jamboree participants and encourage them to participate in the Go Go Go Campaign, raising expectations for the Games.

The Gangwon 2024 Go Go Go Campaign is a large-scale promotional project to wish for the successful hosting of the Winter Youth Olympic Games, which will be held for 14 days from January 19 to February 1 next year in the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province.

The ‘Going to Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games Project’ will begin accepting applications on the 16th and will visit more than 400 elementary, middle and high schools nationwide from September, targeting about 40,000 students.
